This pollen diagram emphasizes the presence and absence of taxa over time with colour. When there is no recorded pollen, a taxa's bar is coloured grey. If there is any pollen recorded at a point in time (or depth), then the colour is a shade between dark blue (very little pollen) and red (lots of pollen). A line is also drawn, over the top of each row, to show the same data in another way.
